Within a media context that leads us to regard communications and the media in relation to the social practice where each individual receives and at the same time creates content, research conducted by members of the group in recent years has confirmed the need to seek the user experience perspective with ICTs from a multidisciplinary approach and from the standpoint of the importance of household connectivity as well as ICT application toacademic programs.
Building on their studies on changing communication practices related to access and use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), members of the Communication & New Media Project have decided to address the analysis of emerging models of collaborative and participatory cultures typical of our current knowledge society. The group is especially interested in identifying emerging patterns in digital and audiovisual literacy.
