Descripción de la línea de investigación
Steganography and watermarking of audio contents. Digital watermarking deals with the problem of embedding information (a mark) into a digital object (the cover object). Many digital watermarking applications are focused on the copyright protection problem. Within this scenario, the major concern about watermarking was robustness, since the embedded mark should not be able to be removed. The specific research task to be carried out in this PhD research is to develop efficient robust audio watermarking schemes that can be used for monitoring the broadcast (marked) contents of digital radio and TV stations in real time.

Perfil académico
The student must be an engineer (either in Computer engineering, Electrical engineering or Communications engineering, for example). A MSc giving access to PhD studies will be also be considered, but it is not requested.
