Facilities
The headquarters of the IN3 are located in the Mediterranean Technology Park, in the town of Castelldefels, in the Baix Llobregat area of the province of Barcelona.
The building has offices, an auditorium that can hold one hundred and twenty people and a number of meeting rooms. With regard to accessibility to network resources, the building has been designed in terms a wireless concept, which allows for complete mobility throughout; offering people access, via a laptop computer, from anywhere in the complex. Likewise, the building also has access to all the shared services and resources available in the Mediterranean Technology Park.
The Mediterranean Technology Park is a project led by the Catalan regional government and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia that aims to attract projects involving training, research and technology transfer. This complex includes the IN3 building, which is home to the administrative and accounting personnel, full-time researchers, new research programmes and the full-time students on the UOC's PhD programme, (UOC-IN3 interns).
