The Fundació per a la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (FUOC, Foundation for the Open University of Catalonia) is the legal entity that encompasses the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC, Open University of Catalonia) and the IN3. The Foundation is directed by a Board of Trustees representing bodies that are present throughout the country and of important social renown.
The Fundació per a la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya monitors the correct and efficient direction and management of the University and the IN3 and carries out the necessary inspections, assessments and controls in order to ensure the highest levels of quality in the educational process.
