The Project Internet Catalonia is an interdisciplinary research programme on the information society in Catalonia that has been carried out by researchers from the UOC's Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3), with collaboration from a number of bodies and individuals in the surveying and documentation tasks.
25/06/2007.- PIC is a research programme carried out from September 2001 to July 2007 by the IN3, the UOC’s research institute. It is a basic research programme, defined by the researchers and co-led by Manuel Castells and Imma Tubella. It is made up of 7 research projects, all of which focus on Catalonia, but based on international research findings in each field. You can read more information here.

En el marco del área temática del VII Programa marco "Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación", se preenta la Conferencia "ICT 2008 Conference Themes: Europe's biggest research event for information and communication tecnologies".
The UOC’s research institute, the IN3, offers 10 grants for full-time PhDs that are carried out physically in its headquarters in Castelldefels’s Mediterranean Technology Park.
