About the IN3

In the year 2000, the UOC founded the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) as its research institute. The research developed within the framework of the IN3 focuses, generically, on interdisciplinary analysis of the Information Society. More specifically, the main areas for attention are e-learning, new technologies and the education system, e-governance, the new economy, law and ICT, technology and health, digital culture, new communication media, internet and daily life, IT and network technologies, and information management. Despite most of the projects developed belonging to the area of basic research, the IN3 does also carry out applied research and innovation projects.
