L'àmbit de recerca, per tant, se situa en la relació i la intersecció entre la ciència cognitiva i el llenguatge: la lingüística cognitiva i l'aplicació de la lingüística a mètodes o recursos de processament del llenguatge a partir d'ordinadors.
